The birth rate for young people is down to 39 births out of 1,000 girls, which ages are
ranging from 15 to 19. There was a 6% decline on the teenage pregnancy and this the lowest average since 1940.
Whether your daughter is in danger or at risk of being one of those teens, who will be counted to be pregnant or not, I bet you are still scared for your daughter’s life, aren’t you?
There you are wanting to talk to her about sex, but you have this little nervousness on how she will react to it.
THE ANSWER TO YOUR PRAYERS
Be scared no more, mothers. The much awaited answer to your prayer is here. Say hello to “What Would Your Mother Do” underwear. This is a variety of ‘anti-sex’ undergarments that were designed to endorse abstinence with the use of catchphrases like ‘not tonight’ and ‘zip it’. These What Would Your Mother Do underwear line also contains ‘boy shorts’, t-shirts and a tote bag.
These collections are sold online.
IT’s AN OXYMORON!
For some, this kind of underwear is a bad thing. Just imagine, if a guy tends to be so hot and he really wanted to have sex with his girl but at the moment he sees and reads, what is written on the underwear of his girl. What do you think he would feel?
Also, one underwear reads ‘not tonight’. So does that mean, that tonight is off limits and that a guy couldn’t touch his girl and the other night is safe for sex?
THE PEOPLE’s EYE
Many people raised an eyebrow on this new undergarment line, and many people nodded and smiled and became happy with, what the manufacturer of the underwear did.
Here are some of the reactions of the people who have read and seen the advertisement of the product (most of these people are not in favor of this!):
“Now this is funny, too funny. Why not do what the countries that have the lowest teen pregnancy rates and STD rates have done for decades? Teach sex education in real honest terms beginning in school no later than 7 yrs old. Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, face it, most of Western Europe, has done so for over 60 yrs and with enormous success. Nothing works like reality and honesty.”

“People shouldn’t look at this as an attempt to help teens. This is just a marketing gimmick for parents who don’t want to talk seriously to their teens about sex. As a method of draining money from sexually repressed adults, it’s pure genius. No aspect of this product is intended for children.”

“I love how they assume all mothers were abstinent. *rolls eyes* This is highly ridiculous. First of all, if a girl is abstinent, then her boyfriend shouldn’t see these panties. Second of all, who’s the shmuck that came up with this idea? Either they’re a fool or they’re trying to scam conservatives, which I’m okay with. If you’re dumb enough to buy a dumb product then you deserve to have your money taken. I think it’s a waste of time to teach kids abstinence anyway. Most kids don’t practice it because parents force them to and they don’t teach them about contraceptives. No wonder conservative states have the highest pregnancy rates. Stop teaching ignorance.”

Okay, this underwear maybe helpful or not, good or bad, positive or negative. There is one thing that parents and teens should discuss with each other. Sex is an act done with a huge responsibility; even though parents would like to have their daughters to engage in sex after marriage, but we live in a modern era, this is highly unlikely. The parents should openly discuss with their daughters, If you really want to have sex but are not yet ready to be parents, make sure to use protection. It’s better to be more open with sex discussion, than shy away from it. The prevention of teenage pregnancy should start at home and not on some anti-sex underwear.
